Dry or Mature Skin. Skin is dry all the time. Pores are usually small. Tans easily. Skin not sensitive. Does not blush easily. Often olive tone skin.
Normal to Sensitive. Skin is not too dry and not too oily. Skin burns easily when in the sun. Light and fair skin on Caucasians. burns easily on all non-caucasians. When exercising, excited or when hot, the skin easily turns pink. Skin is generally sensitive. Allergies or sensitivities to some cosmetics and chemicals. Note: If there is some Oily Skin present in the body, Normal to Sensitive skin may be oilier in the summer and dry in the winter. However, we still use Sensitive/Normal skin products but choose the lighter consistency products. Normal to Sensitive skin with may break out at times with red painful inflammation under the skin. Here we chose Blemish products.
Oily Skin. Skin is oily most of the time. Pores are large and at times clogged. Skin is not generally sensitive and can form blackheads. Note: this skin type may break out occasionally or most of the time with puss formation. In this case we choose Blemish products.
Can't Tell: If you can't tell your skin type, use Normal to Sensitive products.
Note: Your skin type may not be permanent and it may change. Also, it may not necessarily be identical with your body type due to possible subtle influences on the skin. Example; A Dry or Mature skin type may have at times Normal to Sensitive skin in the face (not entire body!) if there is any presence of Normal to Sensitive in the body and the Dry or Mature in the body pushes Normal to Sensitive traits into the facial skin. This will change as Dry or Mature traits gets balances in the body!
Climate: For hot and humid climates, chose the lighter products within your skin type (example: Hydrating Facial Oil). For dry and high altitude climates, use regular moisturizer from your skin type and mix with appropriate Facial Oil.
Identifying Skin Type
There are three basic body types. Dry or Mature, Normal to Sensitive and Oily Skin. The anatomical and physiological structures and functioning are different in different body types. This will be true also in the anatomy and physiology of the skin.
I. DRY OR MATURE SKIN TYPE
The Dry or Mature skin type will have the general properties of the Dry or Mature body type: slow cell regeneration, cooler body temperature causing pale, less circulated skin and darker, often olive tone skin. Since oil and sweat glands functions more slowly, we find lack of oil and moisture in the skin, which results in dry skin. Due to the dryness and slow cell regeneration, we often find premature aging. In time, if not balanced, the skin will lose its firmness and we can see fine lines appear.
Please note: It is important for regularly exfoliate the skin, hydrate and nourish the skin with Hydrator, Serum and Moisturizer. Weekly Masks are also important.
II. NORMAL TO SENSITIVE SKIN TYPE
This skin type generally has more delicate skin, often sensitive or allergy-prone, light complexion, and burns easily when exposed to the sun. Due to excess heat in the skin, there will be lack moisture which can cause rashes, flakiness, sensitivity to chemicals and other substances. If there is any Oily skin present in the physiology, Normal to Sensitive skin may experience some oiliness in the summer, and dryness in the winter. Often, some areas of the face will be dry and the middle more oily.
Normal to Sensitive skin types may develop Rosacea. This is a condition where blood vessels first enlarge on cheeks, then nose and chin. In time, they may break and cause break-outs. These are called Acne Rosacea. Use Blemish products for this condition.
Please note: It is important skin receives a great amount of hydration. Our products are designed to deliver highly active ingredients for hydration and deep cell nourishment. III. OILY SKIN TYPE
Oily skin types have larger oil and sweat glands thus oily skin and larger pores. Due to excess oiliness, blackheads form.
Please note: For Oily skin types, it is imperative to cleanse the skin twice daily, to exfoliate once daily and to apply recommended products for oily skin. Our Blemish Spot Treatment is amazing in reducing inflammation to specific areas!

The entire basic ensemble for each skin type consists of seven products:

1. Cleansers
Milk, honey, oat germ, herbs….so pure one could eat it, starts the cleansing, hydrating, regenerating, revitalizing, balancing process.
2. Hydrators
Fortified with pearl, these deeply hydrating products create the basis for the absorption of the following products, as well as it creates a soothing balancing effect on the skin metabolism and structure.
3. Moisturizing Creams*
The next level of hydrating, as well as nourishing the skin will be the application of the moisturizer. The penetration of the hydrating elements will not be as deep as with the Hydrator, since the cream contains nourishing elements of oils, herbs etc that do not pass a certain level of skin barrier. The Hydrator has taken care of the of deep hydration. With the moisturizer we aim to accomplish a nourishing and lubricating effect on the skin, and at the same time, we aim to provide a gentle shield to allow the skin to retain the moisture for the entire day or night. Our Moisturizers are simply amazing in this function.
4. Exfoliators
Our Exfoliator is the wholesome answer to chemical skin peels that is found to damage skin in time. Our exfoliator firms, reduces age spots and is a perfect home facelift. You may use it as a manual derm-abrasion or leave it on longer and let the enzymes do the work. Our Sensitive Skin Exfoliator will exfoliate and at the same time support the healing of blemished skin.
5. Serums
This is a highly concentrated product with active ingredients that will bring a more powerful regenerating, healing, balancing and nourishing effect, depending on the need of the skin. It is used before the Moisturizer to make it even more effective in accomplishing certain goals for various skin problems, such as aging, break-outs, dehydration, sensitivity and excessive oiliness. Serum is a daily treatment in addition to the Moisturizer. A must at night for more regeneration.
6. Masks
We use masks for a weekly or bi-weekly treatment for specific needs for skin conditions and problems, or simply as a pleasant addition to our nurturing skin care regime.
7.Aromatherapeutic
Facial Oils Aromatherapy is a very powerful way to activate processes in the skin. We use the oil as an adjunct to the Ultra-Hydrating Moisturizer for more nourishment, or by itself for skin that requires a lighter application of nourishing elements.
